The national Republicans’ hand-picked candidate has officially launched their campaign to unseat me.

I want to share more about our new opponent, but first it’s important that we send a message of grassroots strength on day one to prove we’re here to stay. Please send in a donation 5 right away.

My new opponent has already made it clear he’s running a far-right campaign, and has zero intention of finding common ground with Democrats -- or anyone who doesn’t agree with him. 

In his launch announcement, he came out swinging as anti-science and outspokenly pro-Trump. In fact, he’s already backed by MAGA-loving, Republican leaders in our state.

At a time when Congress has been brought to a standstill by extremists, the last thing we need is another MAGA hardliner. Our community deserves leadership that’s willing to work together to solve problems and deliver results.

Here’s the kicker: National Republicans have already promised to spend enormous sums boosting their preferred candidate and on attacks against me. We need to step up right now, and I’m confident that if we put in the early work, we will win.
