Dear John,

This week, I visited Brownsville, Texas, to meet with Border Patrol agents to see firsthand the crisis at our southern border.

Our border patrol agents are overwhelmed. Migrants are flooding the border by the thousands and drugs are freely passing into our country.

After my visit to the southern border, one thing is clear – President Biden's administration must step up and provide our brave border patrol agents all the tools they need to finally secure our southern border.

This is no longer just a policy failure. This is a national security crisis.
