John,
When I was first elected to Congress in 2012, I was 1 of 100 women sworn in the following year – a record-breaking number at the time. |
Since then, I've built a strong reputation as an advocate for abortion access, calling out far-right extremists, and uplifting the voices of women in our community. |
For years, I've wholeheartedly believed that we need more women's voices in positions of power – not just in Florida, but throughout the US.
That's why I'm honored to serve as co-chair of Elect Democratic Women and WomenLEAD, where I've worked my hardest to help women break through the door and get into elected office.
And while I am elated that there are currently 150 women in Congress, and am so proud to work alongside so many of them, MAGA Republicans are set on limiting our rights in a way that sets us back 50 years. |
John, this doesn't deter me – I will continue to fight for equal pay, for the elimination of sexual harassment, and for abortion access in every state. |
Thank you, Congresswoman Lois Frankel |
