I have far-right Republicans running against me. They're trying to represent my home in Western PA where their extreme agenda is everything I'm fighting against. Let me be clear: I won't let them win.

The rot and extremism on the far right has infected the GOP so badly that they’ll attack anyone, even for their patriotism. These people support a corrupt former president who dodged the draft and thinks heroes who died in battle are “suckers” and “losers.”

Republicans are backing the Trumpers who threatened our democracy and are holding the House hostage for their political games. And they have proposed huge cuts to the VA, selling out my fellow veterans, including those who were exposed to burn pits. The GOP needs to take a hard look in the mirror because they're failing the American people.

I was taught to serve our country, protect our freedom, and be proud to defend our democracy. It's what I've done since I joined the Navy, and it's what I'll continue to do in Washington.
