Dear John,
The disturbing crises currently taking place in Israel and Gaza are deeply troubling and resonate with many of us on a personal level.
Given the magnitude of these events, and attacks on Iranian American civil rights in recent months, many in our community are searching for meaningful ways to make a difference. It is natural to feel powerless and wonder how and where you can take action in your community. And state legislatures are a great place to build power and making a difference.
To address this need and empower our community, we are hosting a State Legislatures 101 Training this Sunday, October 15th at 4 pm ET/1 pm PT . This training will provide resources and tactics to demonstrate how folks like you can have a voice at the decision-making table in times of crisis.
It is vital that we feel comfortable speaking up for ourselves in our own states and that our local representatives truly advocate for us.
Learn more on how we can make that happen this Sunday

This is a great chance to learn how state legislatures operate and how you can play a part in shaping the laws in your state.
Hope to see you there.
