Despite the harmful nature of ALEC's activities, many corporations continue to fund them. While some companies like Google, Coca-Cola, and AT&T have severed ties, others continue to support ALEC's extremist agenda, often in ways that are less visible, such as sponsoring events.
If a corporation claims to support pro-environment and pro-civil rights values, they shouldn't be funding ALEC. Their financial support enables ALEC to continue its harmful operations, and we must demand they take a stand against the harmful policies ALEC helps create.
