This Week: At A Glance

Monday, Rep. Ashley Hinson (IA-02) demanded that President Biden stop "emboldening Iran & return to maximum pressure" in response to learning that Iran helped plan Hamas's attack on Israel.

Tuesday, Sen. Joni Ernst (R-IA) shared that she and a bipartisan group of her colleagues had flown to Israel to reaffirm -- directly to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the people of Israel, and American citizens on the ground -- that America's commitment to Israel remains strong.

Wednesday, Rep. Michelle Steel (CA-45) made clear that America should have no tolerance for antisemitism, condemning student groups at California State University for showing support for terrorists.

Thursday, House Republican Conference Chair Elise Stefanik (NY-21) shared a bipartisan letter demanding that the Biden administration refreeze $6 billion in assets that it had recently unfrozen in exchange for American hostages. Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks (IA-2), Rep. Jen Kiggans (VA-02) and nearly 100 other members of Congress signed on to the letter, which expresses grave concern that "the Iranian regime will use all available financial tools to further fuel this war against Israel."
