Hi John,

With only 24 hours to go until the polls close, I wanted to say thank you. 

I’m so grateful to every single person who has made calls, knocked on doors, handed out leaflets and chipped in for Labour. In the final stages, the polls are showing that we have momentum and it’s because of your hard work. Thank you, John.

I’m in politics because I believe in the power of government to change things for the better. Change is never easy, and can come slower than we want it to – because progress takes work and determination.

We can’t just hope for progress, we need to vote for it.

Your vote won’t just choose the Government for the next three years, but the country we want to be decades into the future.

So, this election, I’m asking everyone to vote with future generations in mind. Vote for our families, our kids, our workers, and our most vulnerable communities. Together, we can grow and shape a future we can all be proud of.

Labour is seeing a surge in support because voters see what’s at stake.

New Zealanders need a Government that understands the pressures they are facing, that cares, and that has a plan that prioritises the things that matter most. When times get tough, New Zealanders need a Prime Minister who will not walk away from the tough questions.

Our campaign slogan is ‘In It For You’ not ‘In It For Some’. So, I’m going all in for everyone.

Thank you again for being part of the Labour team and helping us run a campaign we can be proud of. When the polls close at 7pm tomorrow, we can truly say we gave it our all. None of this would be possible without your support.
