Dear John --
PARTY VOTE NATIONAL
Tomorrow New Zealanders will decide which party will lead the next
government of our country. This is the most critical election we have
seen for a long time and, like all MMP elections, it’s going to be
incredibly close.
New Zealand cannot afford three more years of Labour. We need every
single vote we possibly can get in order to get across the line
tomorrow. If you, or anyone you know has yet to cast their
vote, please get out today or tomorrow and give your two ticks to
blue! I really cannot emphasise enough how important this is.
You don’t want to wake up on October 15, with your vote uncast, and
the prospect of three more years of Labour, Greens, and Te Pati
Māori.

It’s been an enormous year here in Selwyn and the team and I have
given it our all! We all know New Zealand needs a change of
Government, and we’ve been working really hard to make this
happen!
Over the course of the year, we've delivered almost 100,000 pieces
of collateral into mailboxes, knocked on thousands of doors, phoned
thousands of people, hosted almost 50 public meetings, pub politics,
and coffee catch up events, as well as spoken with thousands of voters
at weekend markets, shows, and fetes.
Since becoming the MP for Selwyn, I've always made it my goal to
get around as much as the electorate that I can as frequently as
possible. I always value any opportunity to talk to people directly
and hear their concerns first hand.
Over the last couple of months alone, I've been out doorknocking in
Rolleston, Lincoln, Tai Tapu, Prebbleton, Templeton, West Melton,
Dunsandel, Springston, Leeston, Southbridge, Kirwee, Darfield,
Hororata, Glentunnel, Sheffield, and Springfield.
Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to talk to me on the
doorstep, popped along to one of my many coffee meeting or pub
politics events over the last few months and shared the issues that
matter most to you. We’ve listened, and if we can form a government
after this weekend, rest assured that your issues, concerns, and
feedback will be addressed by a National Government.
Finally, it has been a privilege to serve as your MP for the last
three years – I truly believe Selwyn is the best place in New Zealand
to live, work and raise a family. I do everything I can to be an
effective local Member of Parliament and if you vote for me I would
dearly love to continue this on your behalf.
Thank you again for your support, and Party Vote National!
Kind regards,
Nicola Grigg https://nicolagrigg.national.org.nz/
