In the two months since the devastating Maui wildfires, Josh has been working tirelessly to provide housing, food, medical care, mental health services, and other needed resources to the survivors and their families.
Nearly $120 million in housing assistance has already been disbursed to the 8,000 people affected by the disaster, and Josh is making sure they receive another $130 million in state and federal aid and assistance.
Josh will continue to provide housing aid, medical care, mental health services, and other needed support to those affected in West Maui for as long as it takes to help them recover and heal.
Josh is also taking action to make sure Hawaii’s keiki have the resources they need to succeed in school.
That’s why earlier this week Josh was at Lunalilo Elementary School with Vision to Learn and Project Vision, delivering eye exams and prescription glasses to students in need.
