Washington Regional Contracting Forum celebrates 20 years
The Regional Contracting Forum, hosted by DES and City of Tacoma on Sept. 20, celebrated its 20th anniversary of connecting small, diverse, and veteran-owned businesses to contracting opportunities.
The event attracted over 1,000 attendees and featured one-on one meetings, breakout sessions, and listening sessions with various agencies looking for feedback on changes that would directly impact small businesses.
The significance this event was aptly captured by Abigail Navarro, the business owner of Sagacity, who told us, "This event connected me with state agencies and presented invaluable opportunities for my business."
Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make this event a success!
