Dear John,

On Wednesday, October 11, the Network of enlightened Women, known as NeW, hosted the third annual Capitol Hill Intern Summit in Washington, DC.

Cherise Trump, Executive Director of Speech First, kicked off the packed house of 58 attendees with a session on free speech on campus. Cherise said, “Students should want to engage and argue with each other.”

Rachel Bovard, Executive Director of the Senate Republican Steering Committee, then gave a speech titled, “Five Things To Do in Your 20s for the Career You Want in Your 30s.” She shared practical advice. “The first thing you can do to set yourself up for success is to show up on time,” said Rachel.

This Summit was a big success as more college women joined the NeW network and left better prepared to speak out.

Thank you for being a valued member of our network!

All the best,

President
