Governor Gavin Newsom signed Rob’s bill to end hidden fees in California
into law this week!

Hidden charges (also known as junk fees) on concert tickets, food and
grocery delivery orders, airline tickets, and countless other purchases
add up, hurting working families and consumers who are already struggling
to make ends meet.

It’s a nationwide issue that even President Joe Biden addressed during the
most recent State of the Union, as 85% of people in the United States have
encountered junk fees, costing us tens of billions of dollars each year.
Just yesterday, the President announced a proposed rule to eliminate these
fees nationwide.

Once again, California stepped up and continues to lead the nation forward
on cutting costs and protecting consumers.
