Following last weekend’s horrific massacre of more than 1,300 Israeli civilians by Hamas, Jewish communities around the world are rallying support for Israel – while enduring an uptick in antisemitic incidents and hate crimes. Communities in the UK and France experienced a dramatic surge in attacks, as pro-Palestinian advocacy groups in the U.S. organized a “day of resistance” against “the Zionist enemy,” putting Jewish students and institutions on college campuses on high alert. Jewish communities across the country were ramping up security in response to possible threats.
