Crime gets worse;
Dallas City Council members do nothing.
Crimes increase when District
Attorney Creuzot won't prosecute.
Mayor Johnson Claims Democrats
Protect Criminals
Dallas’s Mayor Eric Johnson recently made national
news when he announced that he would be joining the Republican party.
The mayor cited his belief in public safety and fiscal responsibility as
the reason for this monumental decision. In a recent interview with Fox
News,

iminals/ Johnson elaborated and claimed that the Democrat party cares
more about criminals than law-abiding citizens.
Watching the rise of
the Defund the Police movement was a shocking experience, according to
the mayor. Radical Left-wing activists showed up at his house and
threatened his family because of his refusal to shut down the police
department. Johnson said, “That really was the eye-opener in terms of —
this party is really serious about protecting the criminal element over
the law-abiding folks.”

Johnson went on to describe the reasons he
believes American cities have descended into lawlessness and disorder.
“It’s lax [district attorneys] on the Democratic side. It’s local
leaders, mayors, on the Democratic side, who just created this
environment.”
This is a bold and brutally honest statement coming from
the mayor, who has seen the deadly consequences of the pro-crime
policies of Dallas’s Soros-funded District Attorney John Creuzot.
Dallas is heading in a dangerous direction, but this development should
give residents of this city hope. Mayor Johnson says that he does not
intend to run for office again, but he wants to be part of the movement
to restore sanity and safety to Dallas. Contact your city council
member and the District Attorney and ask them why they refuse to follow
Mayor Johnson’s leadership and turn away from the radical Left’s
destructive ideology!

DPD
Investigates the Murder of a Vagrant in Northwest Dallas
DPD found a
man dead behind a store, apparently from gunshot wounds. Every murder
is tragic, and every murder in Dallas is a dark sign of the direction
of our once-prosperous city, but that’s not all we can take away from
this killing. The victim was living in a vagrant camp nearby; this man
may not have died if our city enforced anti-vagrancy laws instead of
enabling murderers and drug dealers to live freely on our streets.

Local Man Gets 9 Years for Social Media Fentanyl
Scheme
The drug trade has exploded in the Metroplex, but Dallas’s
leaders are nowhere to be found. We need more cops, but we’re still
almost 1,000 officers short. We need aggressive prosecution of drug
dealers, but our Woke DA refuses to charge them for anything more than
a single pill. Dallas’s only hope for survival is for our city council
to find some courage or step down.

  DPD Response Times Average 90
Mins for Auto Theft
If you see your car being stolen in Dallas, it
could take 90 minutes or more before police arrive. By the time they
do, the carjackers will be long gone, and you may never see your car
again - if you’re lucky, it may turn up in Oklahoma or New Mexico.
Dallas's per capita crime is up while the per capita police budget is
down. DPD needs more money to hire more officers!

 Tracking Illegal Camps:
[link removed] Each week
the KDS team drives its planned route through Dallas photo-documenting
and cataloguing illegal encampments to inform the city of these
locations. Our team livestreams these activities giving the community a
first-hand look at the vagrancy crisis in Dallas.

In this episode,
we show off the network of panhandlers surrounding the businesses on
LBJ and Abrams.

 District 6 Councilman Omar Narvaez's
"Hole-in-the-Wall
Camp"
We named this camp in Omar Narvaez’s District 6
“Hole-in-the-Wall Camp.” This title has been awarded to another camp in
the past, but it was also a figure of speech! This is the first time
the KDS team has ever actually seen a vagrant literally climbing out of
a hole in a wall. We highly doubt this abandoned building is zoned for
this! Vagrants steal others’ property for their own private use.
 District 6 Councilman Omar Narvaez's
"Footbath Camp"
This camp
in Omar Narvaez’s District 6 has been dubbed “Footbath Camp.” It is bad
enough to walk into a public restroom to find a vagrant washing
themselves in the sink, but somehow this is even worse. This vagrant
filled up a tub and started washing his feet right in front of this
store. How do you think the store owner feels about that? Vagrancy will
drive businesses out of Dallas.
 District 11 Councilwoman Jaynie
Schultz's
"Baggage Camp"
This camp in Jaynie Schultz’s District 11
has earned the title “Baggage Camp.” This woman has a half-dozen
suitcases and wagons carrying her belongings, where is she going?
Unfortunately, probably nowhere. Dallas used to attract residents and
businesses because of our high quality of life, but as our city council
accelerates the crime and vagrancy crisis, the city gains more baggage
by the day.

Mission Statement:
Keep Dallas Safe exists to address crime and
homelessness in Dallas with the goal of transforming Dallas into the
safest large city in Texas for residents and businesses. We aim to have
a City Council that prioritizes crime rate which directly determines
the quality of life in Dallas. We do this by fighting against the
"defund the police" movement, holding accountable our city leaders'
efforts towards lowering district crime rates, and highlighting our
city's homelessness problems by pushing for enforcement of the
prohibition of urban camping.
