In my career as a Louisiana lawyer, I earned the title of a Pitbull for the People from my tireless advocacy on behalf of everyday folks who have been affected by corporate greed, unfathomable inequities, and environmental tragedies.

I’m a born protector, and that’s exactly why I joined this race — to build a more just and equitable Louisiana where our people are shielded from bad actors. Today, I want to share a snapshot of how I plan to do exactly that:

• Protect our women and girls by increasing access to reproductive healthcare across the state — especially in low-income communities and rural areas.
• Address crime at the source by investing in anti-recidivism programs that prioritize building safer, more compassionate communities.
• Cracking down on companies who prioritize profits over people and corrupt our government to pollute our environment at our expense.
• Go after insurance companies with sky-high premiums and implement policies to protect our people from predatory practices.
• Improve access to quality education for Louisianans by working with officials to expand early childhood education and increase funding to our public schools.

As your next Attorney General, I’ll work around the clock to uplift everyday folks that make the great state of Louisiana what it is.
