Some women have been able to claim some of their rights, in some parts of the world. But some women isn’t enough. At Womankind we won’t stop until #AllNotSomewomen have full rights.
Women everywhere face obstacles in achieving their full rights. Obstacles, such as discrimination, unemployment and inaccessibility for women with disabilities, stack up and make it impossible for the world's most marginalised women to participate in our society.
There is no single country in the world where women are equal.
For 25 years world leaders promised to ensure the rights of women all over the world. Yet today we’ve seen governments go back on their word. This International Women’s Day we’re taking to the streets to demand action.
We’re calling on you to join us to make our message clear: enough talking, it’s time for action. Rights for #AllNotSome women.
Unable to join us in London on International Women’s Day? Then why not lend your support to women with disabilities in Zimbabwe as they strive to claim their rights.
In Zimbabwe Womankind partner Deaf Women Included are working to make sure #AllNotSome women have access to information, education and health services. They also support women and girls with disabilities who have experienced violence and influence law makers to make provisions for women with disabilities.
