Folks, I’m proud to say that abortion remains safe and legal here in Illinois.

But as more and more states criminalize abortion, women need to know that they can come to our state for quality reproductive care.

The way I see it, there are a few ways to get this done.

(They all start with building up enough resources to challenge the right-wing money machine at the ballot box, so if you can, will you chip in here to get us started?)

EASY: Ask Illinois leaders to continue their strong support for reproductive rights, and maintain our record of quality reproductive care for all.

MEDIUM: Retake control of the House next November and prevent the GOP from enacting a federal, nationwide ban on abortion.

HARD: Retake control of the House and Senate next November, and pass legislation to guarantee reproductive freedom to all Americans.

HARDEST: Demand that a Democratic Senate majority institute federal court reform, which will prevent Republicans from appointing unqualified right-wing ideologues to attack reproductive rights for decades to come.

The truth is, we’re up against a decades-long conspiracy to rip reproductive choice away from women. Overcoming that won’t be easy, quick, or cheap, but we’ve got to take that first step.

I’m hoping I can count on your support to keep Illinois blue in 2024, flip the House, and do whatever it takes to defend choice nationwide. So, will you chip in $15, $25, or more to get us on the right track?
