John,
I wanted to share some encouraging news: as you may have read in a recent Axios article, approximately 1,100 Minnesota teens in just the last few weeks have pre-registered to vote under a new state law designed to encourage young people to participate in our democracy as soon as they turn 18.
While this is a promising start, it represents just 1% of the estimated 150,000 Minnesota teens age 16 and 17 who are eligible to pre-register. We have a lot of work ahead of us to ensure that all eligible voters have access to the ballot box.
That's why I'm asking for your support today. Our goal is to raise $10,000 this week. My mission is to reach more potential voters, provide them with the information they need to register and vote, and ensure that our elections are free and fair. Your donation will make a real difference in this critical election year. John, will you chip in $5 or more now?
If you've stored your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will process now. |
Studies have shown that allowing teens to sign up to vote before they turn 18 can help increase participation. However, young voters still tend to cast ballots at lower rates than other Americans. We can change this trend and ensure that every voice is heard in our democracy.
John, please consider making a donation today. Every dollar counts, and your support will help us continue our work to protect the right to vote in Minnesota. Together, we can ensure that every eligible voter is registered, every voice is heard, and every vote is counted. Please chip in $5, $10 or whatever you can right now →
Thank you for your continued support.
