Team,

Access to clean, safe, and affordable drinking water is a basic human right and no one deserves to go without it.

This month, I introduced the Water Access Act to help low-income families keep their water turned on, even if they can’t afford their water or wastewater bills. This program has been critical during the COVID-19 pandemic, and we can’t let it end. We need to provide this critical support as families struggle to make ends meet because no family should ever face a lack of clean and safe water.

With your support, I have been working on this issue for a long time as millions of families across America risk water shutoffs or unsafe drinking water. Just this week, I hosted the Environmental Protection Agency in my district to discuss critical water infrastructure upgrade projects happening in America to protect and improve water quality.

Clean, safe, and affordable water is a basic human right. That’s why, since I was elected to Congress, I have been working to deliver solutions that protect our water, from pushing forward legislation to aid in the cleanup of toxic PFAS chemicals to stopping water shutoffs.

Will you join me today and sign on to my petition to support the Water Access Act to make sure no family has to experience not having access to clean and safe water? Add your name right next to mine here >>> [[link removed]]
