The horrific Hamas terrorist attacks of October 7th have placed our scheduled event on the U.S.-Israel alliance into a wholly new and more urgent context. The geostrategic importance of this relationship remains the same, but the need to discuss both antisemitism, which is obviously a grim problem not only in the Middle East but also here at home, and the security partnership between our two countries, particularly in terms of the savage and growing threat to us both from the Islamic Republic of Iran, and to chart a new path into the next quarter
century is now an imperative.
