Dear friends,

The news these past three days coming out of Israel has been deeply heartbreaking and angering as we watch our Jewish brothers and sisters, and others in Israel suffer at the hands of deranged terrorists. Soldiers, citizens and babies are being beheaded, parents are being murdered in front of their small children, and loved ones can’t get a hold of their family and friends to find out if they are safe. Murdered Israelis are being dragged through the streets of Gaza.

I stand 100% strong with Israel and will continue to do so. Our office has compiled information to help those who have friends or families in Israel, and we have shared it below. We also have a webpage that will be updated with fresh information and you an access it here https://bacon.house.gov/services/updates-on-israel.htm or by going to our main page at https://bacon.house.gov  and clicking on the blue circle that says “Updates on Israel.”

My prayer is for victory for Israel.  A swift victory. We pray the hostages will be released back to their families, and all those responsible for these evil attacks are held accountable to the fullest measure of Justice possible.  But most importantly, I pray the words of the Prophet Isaiah for the people and nation of Israel, “to give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness”.
