We have an exciting update for you! As you know, we have an active campaign urging Groupon to stop selling deals to cruel wildlife entertainment. This includes SeaWorld, roadside zoos, and illegitimate animal sanctuaries.
I’m happy to share with you that we have made contact with the CEO, and he has agreed to meet with us in the next few months. This is a result of multiple World Animal Protection campaign actions, including an in-person demonstration at Groupon’s annual stakeholder meeting, supporter emails, and targeting Groupon with digital ads in Barron’s Magazine, a leading finance magazine.
