The House remains in session this week following a near government shutdown and the removal of the Speaker of the House. I wanted to take the time to walk you through everything that's been happening. Things are moving fast in Washington, and they might not always make sense. I'll do my best to break down what's been happening recently to keep you fully up-to-date on the work I'm doing to serve you in Congress.

The warmongers in Washington, D.C. salivate at the idea of sending billions of Americans' hard-earned tax dollars to foreign lands and putting the lives of our young men and women on the line. They just can't help themselves.

I have a message for the Biden admin and Mitch McConnell: Ukraine is NOT America's 51st state.

We should be seeking peace in Ukraine, not war.

In Israel, we are seeing firsthand the deadly effects of a border that is not fully secure. It should be a wake up call to every American.

In the US, 300 Americans are dying every single day from the Chinese-made, Mexican cartel-imported fentanyl being brought across our border.

We now have illegal aliens from over 160 countries in our 50 states. We have captured known terrorists at the Southern border. But how many haven't we caught? And where are they now?

These are very serious questions we are having to ask ourselves because of Joe Biden and Alejandro Mayorkas's open border policies.

America should be at war with the Mexican cartels who are trafficking humans and drugs at our border and killing Americans daily. We should not be on the verge of starting World War 3 with nuclear Russia.

While our border is being overrun, Joe Biden sent Iran $6 billion. Iran supports and helped Hamas plan the attack on Israel. If Joe Biden doesn't re-freeze the money, he is aiding terrorists.

I also want to know if any of the weapons used against Israel came from what the US left in Afghanistan or provided to Ukraine.

What is happening to the people of Israel is a chilling reminder of the great importance of our Second Amendment.

Last week, my office held a Student Trade Expo in Georgia’s 14th District for students to explore career opportunities outside of seeking a traditional 4-year college degree.

The Office of Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene is seeking interns for her office in Washington, DC. Applicants should be highly motivated, have excellent communication skills, and have interest in learning more about the legislative process. Start and end dates are flexible. Georgia ties are preferred, but not required. This is a paid position and college credit can be earned.

Interns will work in three different interest tracks:

• Policy: Interns will work closely with the Congresswoman’s legislative team. Tasks include answering phones, assisting with legislative research, processing constituent mail, attending policy briefings, and additional tasks to aid the legislative team.
  
  
• Communications: Interns will work closely with the Congresswoman’s communications team. Tasks include answering phones, compiling daily press and broadcast clips, organizing, maintaining, and updating media lists, drafting press releases, assisting with social media, and additional tasks to aid the communications team. Experience with the Adobe Suite is required.
  
  
• Administrative: Interns will work closely with the scheduler and staff assistants to complete tasks that are essential for day-to-day office organization. These include answering phones, compiling contact lists, processing constituent mail, leading Capitol tours, completing flag requests, drafting constituent correspondence, and assisting with weekly reports.
