This December, you can help end human trafficking and do it in style. How? By joining the Dressember challenge! Whether it’s your first time here or you’ve been a champion of justice with your children, church, college or community for years, we think you’ll find the Dressember challenge a perfect fit.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Starting December 1, commit to wearing a dress or a tie every day for the rest of the month. Don’t worry, you don’t need to order a whole new wardrobe. Get creative with what you have and follow @Dressember for some style tips!
2. Create your fundraising page. Dressember will give you everything you need for every day of the campaign, and we promise that setting it up only takes a minute.
3. Set your goals. How much do you think you can raise? Don’t be afraid to aim high! You might be surprised by how much your community is willing to support you in ending human trafficking.
4. Change your clothes. Change the world. Post your daily fit check and start spreading the word about IJM, human trafficking and how you’re dressing up to help end it.
“But what does wearing a dress have to do with changing the world?”
We can answer that!
In the last 10 years, over 280,000 children, women and men have used Dressember as a platform to raise funds and awareness for global anti-human trafficking work. People like you have raised over $18 million since 2013 to directly fund the work of advocacy, prevention, intervention and survivor empowerment.
Join Dressember and show the world that justice has never looked so good.
