| Heartbreak. Anger. Sorrow. America stands with Israel in solidarity against the heinous violence and terrorism perpetrated by the Hamas terrorist organization. Israel and her citizens' way of life and very freedoms came under attack – deliberate and brutal. I condemn in the strongest way possible these despicable acts of terror. I pray that those responsible will be brought swiftly to justice. Terrorism has no place in Israel just as it has no home here in America or any place in the free world. I hope every American takes a moment to recognize right and wrong. The images and accounts coming from Israel in which over 1,200 innocent lives have been taken will be forever engraved in my heart. It is also at this time that I extend deep disapproval of the Biden administration freeing $6 billion to the Iranian government – who has and will continue to support terrorist organizations. For years, Iran’s government has prioritized supporting militant and terrorist proxies over providing services for its own people. For this administration to think otherwise, that money for food and medicine doesn’t translate into money for militancy is at best naive and at worst, duplicitous. I call on this administration to re-freeze those assets immediately. Great nations stand together in solidarity. Today and every day, I stand with Israel today. I pray for our friends and allies. I pray for those who want peace and security in this world. And I pray for the grieving children and innocent people whose lives are forever changed. Israel and her people need our support.
