Results are in: in a closed-door vote yesterday, House Republicans narrowly voted 113-99 to nominate Rep. Steve Scalise for Speaker of the House. However, Scalise couldn’t secure the necessary 217 votes to be chosen as Speaker on the floor. Republican indecisiveness has sent the House into recess.

Without a Speaker, the House is paralyzed. No business will be conducted. No bills or budgets will be passed. No vital aid will be provided to Israel or Ukraine.

MAGA Republicans are giving us more chaos. Democrats are the only ones who can get things done.
