Dear John,
In the wake of Hamas’s war on Israel, which is the deadliest attack on Jews since the Holocaust, and the horrific kidnapping of 150 innocent children, women and men into Gaza, we are seeing the inevitable...
The terrorist attacks and Israel’s response have sparked anti-Israel and antisemitic activity in the United States and around the world — at a time when antisemitism around the world was already on the rise.
Extremists have been amplifying the hate spread by anti-Israel voices who are parroting Hamas claims. Many in the media have distorted the news in their coverage. And on campus, ‘Day of Resistance’ protests against Israel are breaking out, further elevating concern for Jewish students.
Our ADL team across the world is working around the clock.

Join us for an important Fighting Hate from Home webinar this Friday at 10 a.m. ET to hear first-hand from an Israeli whose family was taken hostage by Hamas. We will discuss Israel under attack, antisemitism in the U.S. and how ADL is responding with ADL Center on Extremism VP Oren Segal, who will provide updates on the situation, take your questions and provide resources.
We know this timing is earlier than we usually hold webinars, but we want to be sure that ADL’s Israel team and others on the ground there can participate along with you and the rest of our community in the United States.

TAKE ACTION TODAY AGAINST ANTI-ISRAEL HATE ON CAMPUS
There are too many voices — and they are growing in intensity — who are justifying, excusing and even celebrating Hamas actions. We see this on campus, in anti-Israel demonstrations, and from “experts” interviewed by major media outlets. This is unacceptable.
Students for Justice in Palestine’s national leadership has explicitly endorsed the actions of Hamas and their atrocities against innocent people in Israel and voiced an increasingly radical call for confronting and “dismantling” Zionism on U.S. college campuses. The group is calling for a “National Day of Resistance” for its campus chapters on Oct. 12. We are greatly concerned about Jewish students being harassed and intimidated on campus, and have issued an open letter to college administrators urging them to condemn antisemitism and to take action to protect Jewish students on campus.
Please join ADL in calling on university presidents to speak up against antisemitic hate and anti-Israel vitriol on campus.
