“You know, there are moments in this life — and I mean this literally — when the pure, unadulterated evil is unleashed on this world. The people of Israel lived through one such moment this weekend.  The bloody hands of the terrorist organization Hamas — a group whose stated purpose for being is to kill Jews. This was an act of sheer evil.”

Update on the War Hamas Has Inflicted Upon the Citizens of Israel

  • Israel, on Saturday, October 7th, 2023, will always be remembered as the darkest day in Israeli history.  Not since the days of the Holocaust, have the Jewish people seen such murder and savagery, and never since the return to our own independent Jewish homeland.

  • As we all know by now, there are more than 1,200 men, women, children, the elderly, and babies who have been barbarically massacred by Hamas, with close to 3,200 wounded. The number of dead includes 260 young people participating in a rave peace concert in the south. Many others have been kidnapped and held hostage in Gaza. At least 14 Americans are among the dead, plus an unknown number of American hostages. Holocaust survivors and grandparents have been either taken hostage, or brutally murdered without mercy. More than 40 babies and children were found killed and beheaded in Kibbutz Kfar Aza.

  • Hamas has taken well over 150 innocent civilians hostage, making the operation for the IDF in Gaza infinitely more complicated.

  • The IDF has now managed to secure every border crossing into Israel, and to secure the Israeli communities that had been overwhelmed by the Hamas terrorists that went from house to house, kidnapping men, women, and children from out of their living rooms. Israelis huddled in the safe rooms, where they were massacred.

  • Israel withdrew entirely from Gaza in 2005. In less than a year, the terrorist organization Hamas was elected.  In a gut-wrenching decision in a heart-wrenching, politically divisive move, the Israeli government decided to uproot any remnant of a Jewish presence in Gaza and withdrew to the pre-1967 lines, giving the Palestinian people there, total independence. Jewish philanthropists actually bought the greenhouses to give to this “nascent Palestinian state”, and left synagogues to be turned into mosques. As soon as the IDF left, these synagogues, and greenhouses were totally obliterated.

  • In the West Bank / Judea & Samaria, over 80% of the population wants Hamas or Palestinian Islamic Jihad rather than Fatah, or the Palestinian Authority.

  • Fatah, or the P.A. has been said to be a “moderate alternative”to Hamas. Fatah has taken every opportunity to applaud these horrific acts. Fatah has sent out a large number of alarming releases, saying, “Strike the sons of apes and pigs. Slaughter anyone who is Israeli.” (Please see https://palwatch.org/page/34635)

  • We are watching the northern border, as it is currently heating up. Unfortunately, Iranian backed Hezbollah fired an anti-tank missile into Israel’s northern border. There was a skirmish in which, unfortunately one Druze IDF officer, Alim Abdullah was killed in a gun battle with Hezbollah. Two other, as of yet unnamed IDF soldiers have been killed in gun battles. Confusion on Wedneday led to false reports of a massive drone and paratroop incursion into northern Israel from Lebanon.

  • There are now over 1,200 killed and close to 3,200 wounded from Hamas's animalistic invasion last weekend. Countless lives have been shattered by grief and irreplaceable lost.

  • Prime Minister Netanyahu has assembled an emergency unity government to oversee the war effort, including Benny Gantz of the formerly opposition National Unity Party.

  • Israel has prohibited civilian entry to a vast territory surrounding the Gaza Strip, as it calls up reserves and prepares for future combat operations.

In a recent and deeply tragic turn of events, a harrowing assault orchestrated by Hamas on Israel during the weekend left an overwhelming toll in its wake. Over 1,000 precious Israeli lives were lost, with an additional 3,418 individuals suffering injuries, as per the official report from the Israeli Embassy in the United States.
