House Republicans are in complete chaos. Today they held a closed door meeting where they held a secret vote for Speaker. Steve Scalise (who once compared himself to David Duke) got 113 votes and Jim Jordan (who was on the phone with Trump on January 6th) got 99 votes.

But neither of them have the support of 217 members to become Speaker yet. The GOP cannot lead because the MAGA extremists have too much power over our government.
