Wow, John. We've set a lot of ambitious goals in the five months since launching this campaign, and thanks to this grassroots team, we've absolutely crushed every single one.

Last week was our second major FEC quarterly deadline of this campaign, and I am so proud to report that when all was said and done, this team raised $4.7 million in three months to power this campaign to victory. What's more, that $4.7 million is made up of donations from more than 80,000 grassroots supporters – folks just like you who are fired up to defeat Ted Cruz and give Texans the senator we deserve.

This team's commitment is truly inspiring, and it's why I'm more convinced than ever that we can win this thing. And I'm not the only one who thinks so – since we launched this campaign, experts from Inside Elections to the Cook Political Report have upgraded Texas from a safe Republican seat to a battleground, and FiveThirtyEight says this could be Democrats' best pickup opportunity in 2024.

Of course, it's not going to be easy, and we've got a long way to go to reach millions of voters across the state with our message of hope, unity, and progress. But I'm ready to do whatever it takes to fire Ted Cruz, and thanks to supporters like you, I've got the resources I need to hit the ground running.
