Friends,

Tomorrow, J Street will be joined by Noam Cohen and Gal Raz, two survivors
of the horrific Hamas terror attack on the Tribe of Nova music festival in
Israel.

Both have friends and loved ones still missing and unaccounted for. Both
feel it’s important to tell the story of what happened.

Amid horrific scenes as Hamas opened fire on hundreds of partygoers in the
early hours of Saturday, Noam joined others hiding in a shelter nearby. He
was one of the only survivors after Hamas terrorists threw an explosive
into the shelter.

Gal tried to escape in a car which then came under fire, forcing him to
run and hide. Later he learned that two of his friends, Noa Argamani and
Avinatan Or, were kidnapped by Hamas.

Tomorrow, October 12, Gal and Noam will join us to share their stories at
3pm Eastern / 12pm Pacific. [ [link removed] ]Register to join us via Zoom >>

We’ll also be joined by J Street Rabbinic and Cantorial Cabinet Co-Chair
Rabbi Susan Leider, J Street Board Member Ben Linder and J Street
President Jeremy Ben-Ami, who will share reflections on our community’s
response in this moment and how we can come together to help those
impacted on the ground.

If you would like to make any direct contributions to timely,
on-the-ground efforts, we’ve highlighted a range of organizations working
to support affected communities. [ [link removed] ]You can find the organizations listed
here. Please feel free to share this resource widely.

Thank you, sincerely, to the entire J Street community for your support,
your empathy and your compassion in this incredibly difficult moment.

Sincerely,

Adina Vogel Ayalon
Chief of Staff, J Street
