Yesterday was one of the darkest days in Israel’s history as the Iranian-backed terrorist group, Hamas, killed hundreds of Israelis, injured thousands more, and abducted several dozen civilians and soldiers.

We cannot, and will not, remain silent while our brothers and sisters in the Holy Land are facing their most perilous moment. As Americans, we lived through the horrors of 9/11 and during that trying time, our Israeli friends stood shoulder to shoulder in our war against terror. This is Israel’s 9/11, and they need our unwavering and steadfast support.
 

Israel has every right to defend itself with any force they deem necessary, and we will be standing with Israel and her people every step of the way. Our commitment to our greatest ally must be unbreakable now, and in the days, weeks, and perhaps months ahead in this war.
