Since Attorney General Eric Holder launched the National Democratic Redistricting PAC in 2017, our mission has always been to end partisan gerrymandering and to work toward a truly representative democracy.

Thanks to supporters like you, our movement has seen some incredible success.

→ Ahead of the 2022 midterm elections, our efforts to fight for fair maps and prevent Republican gerrymandering helped secure what the New York Times called “the fairest House map of the last 40 years.”

→ Last November, our movement helped elect Democracy Defenders and defeat dangerous election deniers across the country. As a result, FiveThirtyEight reported that “For the first time in years, more Americans will live in a state fully controlled by Democrats than in one fully controlled by Republicans.”

As we look ahead to the coming months, there are some very important fights on the horizon.

→ In just a few weeks, Virginia will hold state legislative races that will determine the future of abortion rights, voting rights, fair maps, and so much more. The NDR PAC has endorsed 99 Democracy Defenders to help protect the progress we’ve made.

→ Before next November’s election, as many as 19 congressional districts across 11 different states could be redrawn – more than enough to tip control of the House. The NDR PAC is working across the country to secure fair maps and prevent GOP gerrymandering.

We have a lot of work ahead of us – but as A.G. Holder said, “We will continue to stay engaged – everywhere – to protect our democracy.”
