Dear Friend,
We are excited to share an update at the Claremont Institute’s Center for the American Way of Life, where we have been working with quiet determination on an initiative that we’re now ready to unveil. Its purpose is to systematically expose, evaluate, and eliminate the manifestations of wokeness in the personnel, programs, and policies of the U.S. Military.
We call it the American Military Project.
Directed by Will Thibeau, a former Army Ranger, the American Military Project is set to release a series of policy recommendations over the coming year. Our aim is to remind our leaders that our national security depends on military professionalism and competence, not DEI, gender ideology, or identity politics.
Last month Thibeau testified before the House Military Personnel Subcommittee on the existential dangers that arise when objective standards of military excellence are downgraded in a cavalier manner to advance political and social agendas. Such detachment from reality could result in military disaster. Read his testimony HERE.
Read Thibeau in The Daily Caller HERE on why scrutinizing the military’s officer class is so important to fixing current readiness and credibility problems.
Finally, catch Thibeau HERE in the Washington Times on how progressive measures are negatively affecting U.S. armed forces and what can be done about it.
Our critically important work, including The American Military Project and all that we do at our Center for the American Way of Life, could not be accomplished without your support. We invite you to stand with us in this critical endeavor to safeguard the integrity and effectiveness of our nation’s military—and by extension, the safety and freedom of us all. Please consider joining the fight today.
