Dear John,
We are excited to share an update at the Claremont Institute’s Center for the American Way of Life ([link removed] ) , where we have been working with quiet determination on an initiative that we’re now ready to unveil. Its purpose is to systematically expose, evaluate, and eliminate the manifestations of wokeness in the personnel, programs, and policies of the U.S. Military.
We call it the American Military Project.
Directed by Will Thibeau, a former Army Ranger, the American Military Project is set to release a series of policy recommendations over the coming year. Our aim is to remind our leaders that our national security depends on military professionalism and competence, not DEI, gender ideology, or identity politics.
Last month Thibeau testified before the House Military Personnel Subcommittee ([link removed] ) on the existential dangers that arise when objective standards of military excellence are downgraded in a cavalier manner to advance political and social agendas. Such detachment from reality could result in military disaster.
