When Kevin McCarthy was ejected from the Speaker position we knew we wouldn’t get a more moderate member of Congress holding the gavel.

After all, Gaetz and the far-right wing of the MAGA caucus were the ones who orchestrated his ouster. They control the House and they ultimately will decide the fate of the next Speaker.

So it’s no surprise that Steve Scalise is likely to be the next man in charge of the House.

Here’s what you need to know about him. He’s a, a far-right extremist, a devout follower of Trump’s MAGA cult, and he helped incite the January 6th Insurrection by voting to overturn the outcome of the 2020 presidential election.

With Scalise in charge of the House, you can expect more nonsensical President Biden impeachment “inquiries” and even less competent governance. All while the world continues to look to the United States of America to be a force for stability and peace.

So don’t expect anything new from this fresh rebrand of the GOP caucus. They’re still laser focused on undermining the constitution on Trump’s behalf. Just let it serve as a reminder of the importance of defeating them in November 2024.
