As the oldest of five kids in a family living below the poverty line, Lindsey has had a lot of experience in making things work with very little. She paid her way through college by working two jobs, went to law school to learn how to protect underrepresented people, and became a successful attorney who did just that.

Lindsey has taken the big guys to court in Louisiana — repeatedly. And won. Again. And again. And again. She’s been a tireless advocate for everyday people, and in a time of heightened partisanship and racial division, Lindsey will seek justice and fairness for every Louisianan, regardless of their political party, race, sex, religion, or sexual orientation.
