Hey John, Nida here! My daughter Aaliyah has noticed how hard I’ve been working lately on my race for County Commissioner, so she offered to help write an email for me. I thought about pointing out that she can’t read (or write) yet, but I figured I would let her help to avoid a tantrum. Please read her message below, and if you can, pitch in $27 to my campaign to help me keep fighting for a brighter future for Aaliyah and our entire community!

I want to tell you about my favorite person in the world (sorry dad!): my mama, Nida. 🧡🧡🧡
Mama fights for me every single day, in ways that I know about and in ways that I don’t.
Whether Mama is taking care of me 👩🏽❤️👩🏽, speaking at a protest 📣, or working as County Commissioner 📝, I know that she is one of the strongest advocates for our community, and we can’t afford to lose her voice in our government.
Mama is a superhero 🦸🏽♀️, so today, I’m gonna do what I can (with some pretty significant help) to help her continue her fight. Mama tells me that in order to win again, she needs everyone to do what they can to help – and if I can pitch in, I know you can too! 🤑
