Hello John, You may have missed it, but we have sent you an invite to our upcoming Platinum Speaker Series "Fun" raiser on October 20th in El Dorado Hills featuring local wine, a beautiful venue and delicious hors d’oeuvres. We are honored to have Senate President Pro-Tempore Elect, Mike McGuire, a champion for rural California and friend to our EDC Democratic Party, as our speaker as well as featured guest Senator Marie Alvarado-Gil, the first Democrat elected to represent us in the California Senate in over 30 years. Once again, Senator McGuire will repeat his successful and fun-filled performance as an auctioneer of a delicious selection of pies to help raise additional funds to support our work locally. We are still $7,500 away from our Fall Fundraising Goal. Please donate HERE to ensure we elect Democrats up and down the ballot in 2024. In the recent past, support of our fundraising helped us forge successful elections for 10 out of 11 of our endorsed candidates for local office in El Dorado County in one single election cycle. Donor support has proven to make a difference. Now more than ever, we need leaders rooted in our common values. Let's pick up where we left off and deliver the elected leadership that our communities need in this moment. Six months from now, ballots will be arriving in the hands of voters with Donald Trump seeking to retake the White House and MAGA Extremist Republicans will be vying for every open seat possible across El Dorado County, attempting to upend our county government, school boards, service districts, etc. We cannot allow this to happen, and we need your help. Frankly, too often, Democrats take elections for granted. Trust me, I know that budgets are tighter right now, and life is busy, but as a mother to a young daughter, I know that it is my responsibility to protect her future and this beautiful community that I was raised in.
