I’m reaching out today in hopes that you will celebrate International Day of the Girl with me by making a gift to IGNITE. To help encourage generosity, I’m matching gifts up to $2500 to honor the girls in our lives.

Did you know that according to a recent International State of the World’s Girls report, one in five girls have personally been discouraged from engaging with or participating in politics. This is unacceptable. On this International Day of the Girl, let’s show girls that their voices matter when it comes to policy decisions.

Your donation will support girls like Alejandra Obregon, who recently shared, “One of the biggest lessons I learned at IGNITE”s political leadership conference in Washington D.C. is that a lot of women don't run for office because we don't think we are good enough to run. Now I know I shouldn't limit my possibilities. I can be a leader in my community.”

IGNITE not only tells girls early and often that they can and should be political leaders - we teach them how to do it!
