Economic Democracy Weekly

Today’s Economic Democracy Weekly is all about creating stories that make change happen. We begin with an interactive version of an article by the editors in this summer’s magazine issue, “Movement Economies: Building an Economics Rooted in Movement.” Then, the next in our series, “Building Power, Fighting Displacement: Stories from Asian Pacific America,” in which organizers tell the story of a hard-won community organizing campaign against gentrification in Boston. Next, two writers tell us how White men for social justice are coming together to flip the script on White supremacy. Finally, are you organizing your workplace? We want to hear your story: send us a pitch for our new column, “We Stood Up,” featuring the voices of people making economic justice happen at work.
