Israel & Palestine

The events in Israel and Palestine over the past few days are simply devastating. I strongly condemn Hamas’ deliberate attack against Israeli civilians and Israeli children that took place on Saturday. This was unequivocally an act of terrorism, of which there is never justification for. The subsequent violence that took place including taking hostages and the killing of civilians are classified as war crimes and as an Air Force Veteran, I urge all parties to end the senseless violence against Israeli and Palestinian civilians. Respecting human rights and the rule of law are foundational elements of civilization and must be adhered to even in times of war and conflict.

I also want to acknowledge that while these events took place many miles away from here, it leaves its impact on the people of Pennsylvania and those in our communities, many of which have conflicting viewpoints on this matter. I want to remind you that while the first amendment protects free speech, reactive violence is never lawful or acceptable. I would also like to remind everyone that as we continue to watch and listen to news of the conflict to recognize misinformation and disinformation as it occurs and only share confirmed reports to reduce confusion and heartache.

I am hopeful for an expeditious end to this bloodshed and a lasting peace for Israelis, Palestinians and the entire region.

Updated Vaccine Clinic

My rescheduled Vaccine Clinic with Giant Pharmacy will be on Thursday, Nov. 9 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Lower Providence Township Building at 100 Parklane Drive, Eagleville, PA 19403.

Influenza, COVID-19 Booster, RSV, and Pneumonia vaccines will all be available. Please bring your insurance & pharmacy cards with you! Walk-ins are allowed but appointments are prioritized.

November Election Reminders

The November election is now less than a month away! On the ballot this year you will see many elected positions including School Board Directors, Township Supervisors / Commissioners, Borough Council Seats, Township Auditors, Treasurer, Coroner, District Attorney, Judge of the PA Supreme Court, Judge of the Superior Court, and Judge of the Commonwealth Court. Sample ballots are already available here.

The last day to register to vote is Oct. 23.

Secure Drop Box locations for your mail-in ballot will be available beginning Oct. 28. Locations and hours are available here.

The last day to request a mail-in ballot is Oct. 31.

Election Day is Nov. 7. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. – 8 p.m. Make sure to submit your mail-in ballot by 8 p.m. on Election Day.
