Cal Cunningham is an Army veteran of Iraq and Afghanistan, business leader, and former legislator who served as vice chairman of the North Carolina Governor's Crime Commission. He is running to serve as North Carolina's next United States senator. But this race will be close: 49% of North Carolinians have an unfavorable opinion of Donald Trump, but 48% are still fans. In a presidential election year, this race will come down to every last vote.
