This week, I’m sharing 5 thoughts on the conservative leadership we need to defeat the racist Left. Here’s point #4:
4️⃣ - It’s not just me
You see, it’s not just me. Whether it’s Condoleeza Rice, Harris Faulkner, or myself, we have so many wonderful conservatives in this country who happen to be Black. Republicans have been electing African-Americans because our party cares more about character than skin color.
The other week, I met with the mayor of Dallas, Texas, who left the Democratic Party to become a Republican. Why? Because he was producing results and reducing crime and increasing opportunity. Those results made him into a Republican.
One of the things he said to me was simply that if you play by the rules, if you respect law and order, the future you have in this country will be grand. If you take a conservative approach to life and live out conservative values, you will be successful and live a good life.

I wanted to share some important thoughts with you this week. Below is the third of my main five points:
3️⃣ - I will stand in the fire
The Left loves weaponizing the issue of race against me. When I wrote the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, they called me a prop. When I started working on refunding the police, they called me a token. When I pushed back on Joe Biden's agenda, they even called me the N-word.
But the proof of my life destroys the lives of the radical Left. I'm running for president because I know America can do for anyone what she's done for me. And we have to restore hope and protect America at the exact same time. I will be the man standing in the fire because I've benefited too much from this amazing country and the God whom I serve!
And when I stand up to fight for the defenseless, when I give voice to the voiceless, it scares the dickens out of the radical Left. Not because they just want to punish me. They want to punish any person of color who dares to stand up and think for themselves that the Great Opportunity Party might have the solutions to multi-generational problems in these liberal cities.

John, So much has happened recently that I needed to sit down and fully collect my thoughts. I have 5 main points I want to share with you. Here’s #2:
2️⃣ - This is an issue of control
The Left is willing to tell young kids in the inner cities, living in poverty and single-parent households that you better shut up and sit down if you're not gonna vote blue. That’s a demoralizing, debilitating message. And the Democrats will use any group, anyone, any issue to hold on to their political power. It is disgusting, but it is consistent.
Grandmothers in Chicago and Los Angeles and DC are locked into their homes from the time the sun goes down until the time the sun comes up because the radical Left have unleashed a violent crime wave in these liberal cities.
This is not a Black issue. It's not a White issue. It's an issue of power. It's an issue of manipulation. It's an issue of control. The radical Left, they’re not interested in progress. They're interested in control. They're not trying to inspire people. They're trying to manipulate people. And the results that we see in these big blue cities with super majorities has devastated Black lives, White lives, Hispanic lives for as long as they have been in power.
What the nation needs, and especially liberal cities need, they need a conservative alternative.

It’s just what Joe Biden and the radical Left do. Every single time they hide behind the race card or the class card, they are willing to divide this country and I’m sick and tired of it.
