Honor ALL LGBTQ+ Youth This National Coming Out Day!
Dear John
The "coming out" journey is different for everyone — and it's often not linear. In fact, one in five kids will experiment with how they identify at least once within three years of "coming out."
That's why this National Coming Out Day, we're honoring all LGBTQ+ youth — those who have come out, those who have yet to, and those still exploring what their journey looks like. We even have a video for folks who wish we didn't have to have National Coming Out Day [[link removed]]. Because there is no one right way to celebrate.
To the adults reading this — we know the world often makes it difficult for queer kids. Be an ally! Seeing people like you support them — and seeing orgs like It Gets Better advocate for them [[link removed]] — makes the journey a whole lot better.
