My name is Amanda, and I’m the Chief Operating Officer here at Organizing Empowerment PAC. I’m reaching out to tell you about some of the incredible work we do and how you can get involved!
We are experts in relational organizing and have helped boost voter turnout for progressive campaigns across the country for the past decade. What is relational organizing, you may ask? Well, let me explain.
Relational organizing is reaching out to your own personal networks, your friends and family members, to organize and mobilize them. We know that people are more receptive to hearing from a trusted friend or family member. That's why we leverage the power of relational organizing in our programs to communicate from friend to friend and relative to relative as a way to create change.
In 2023, we worked with organizations on the ground in Wisconsin to implement a successful relational organizing program for the State Supreme Court election.
Our program resulted in over 530,000 conversations about voting for Judge Janet Protasiewicz in the Supreme Court race. Her eventual 11-point victory flipped the Court over to liberal control in Wisconsin for the first time in over a decade.
We were able to increase turnout in an off-year election that usually doesn’t get much attention - that’s the power of relational organizing.
