It’s official. Kari Lake has announced her campaign for senator of Arizona, with the full support of Donald Trump.

We can’t afford to have this MAGA mouthpiece as Senator of Arizona. Here’s just a few reasons why:

• She led anti-mask rallies during the height of the pandemic, showing her blatant disregard for the health of disabled and elderly Arizonans.
• During her 2021 gubernatorial race, she was endorsed by none other than Donald Trump.
• When she lost the race for governor, she refused to concede to Katie Hobbs and claimed her loss was due to voter disenfranchisement.
• She believed the 2020 Presidential election was “rigged and stolen.”
• Lake claimed January 6th insurrectionists were “invited in by Capitol police.”
• She’s pledged to complete the southern border wall.

Kari Lake’s track record is concerning, and she’s absolutely NOT someone who should be representing Arizona at a national level. The Arizona Democratic Party is committed to defeating Lake and securing a senator that represents all Arizonans.
