The magazine appears to have ties to former President Donald Trump and other Republican candidates. Robert Kiyosaki, one of its executive editors, has co-authored with Trump books about personal finance and entrepreneurship. Kiyosaki promoted the then-real estate mogul in the pages of Jet Set Magazine during Trump's 2016 campaign for president.
