In 2018, women embraced our political power like never before. We ran for office in higher numbers, supported political campaigns in higher numbers, and now, a record-breaking 131 women serve in the 116th Congress.

But our work is far from done. Women still only account for 23.7% of voting members in the House and Senate but are 46% of the U.S. workforce—and we’re seeing more misogyny from our public officials in the 2020 cycle than ever before.
